Chicken Alfredo Pasta

Ingredients
1 package (10 to 12 ounces) dry pasta (fettucine, rotini, etc.)
1/2 cup butter
2 cups heavy cream
2 cloves garlic, crushed
2 cups freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
Directions
Cook pasta according to package directions. Melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium low heat. Add cream and simmer for 5 minutes, then add garlic and cheese and whisk quickly, heating through. Stir in parsley and chicken. Serve over pasta. (Note: Do not use the canned, powdered Parmesan that you sprinkle on spaghetti. It won't melt, and your sauce will be lumpy.)
