Author: Darlene Woods, Essexville, Mich. and The Coca-Cola Co.
Ingredients
1 whole ham
Whole cloves
1 2/3 cups dark brown sugar
1 1/2 liters of Cherry Coke
Directions
Take one whole ham, scored, and add whole cloves in the scored areas. Pat 1 cup of the brown sugar on the ham. Add 1 1/2 liters of Cherry Coke to the pan, slowly pouring some over the brown sugar. When some of the sugar washes off, add the rest of the sugar. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Let cool, remove cloves and slice.
Reserve the leftover liquid and freeze for the next time you cook a ham. It will be very moist and delicious.
