Pina Colada Apples
Ingredients
6-8 apples, washed and chilled
6-8 wooden skewers
12-ounce bag white chocolate chips
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 tablespoon butter
1 teaspoon rum extract
1 cup dried pineapple, finely chopped
2 cups shredded coconut
Directions
Wash and dry apples. Skewer each at the stem and place in refrigerator to chill. Line a baking sheet with parchment or waxed paper.
In glass bowl, melt chocolate, condensed milk, butter and rum extract together in the microwave, on medium setting, stirring every 30 seconds, until creamy. Meanwhile, mix pineapple and coconut together on a plate.
Dip apples into the melted chocolate, using a spatula or butter knife to spread the chocolate evenly. Roll in the pineapple and coconut. Place on baking sheet and refrigerate.
