Bowser Biscuits
Ingredients
1/2 cup oat flour
1/2 cup corn flour
1/2 cup soybean flour
1/2 cup wheat bran
2 tablespoons brewer's yeast
1/4 teaspoon garlic and parsley salt (or 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder and 1/2 to 1 teaspoon parsley flakes)
2 large eggs
2 tablespoons unsulphured molasses
Directions
Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Combine dry ingredients in a bowl and stir to mix well. Work eggs and molasses into dry ingredients, using your hands, until you have a pliable dough that no longer sticks to fingers. Remove dough to a floured surface and shape into a log 1 1/2 inches across. Slice into 1/4-inch biscuits and flatten to reshape if necessary.
Dough may also be rolled out and cut with a cookie cutter. Bake on a greased baking sheet at 300 degrees for 25-30 minutes or until firm but not burned on the bottom. Turn off oven and leave biscuits until cool and completely dried out, or cool on wire racks. Store airtight to keep crisp. Makes about 3 dozen pet treats.
