Texas Hill Country Potatoes Packet

Ingredients

1 8-by-24-inch sheet aluminum foil
1 1/3 pounds (4 medium) potatoes, cut in 1/2-inch cubes
1/3 teaspoon garlic powder
1/3 teaspoon paprika
1/3 teaspoon packed brown sugar
1/3 teaspoon salt
1/3 teaspoon black pepper
1/3 teaspoon cayenne pepper
2 tablespoons butter, cut in pieces


Directions

Preheat grill to medium-high. Center potatoes on foil with dull side toward food. Combine seasonings and sprinkle over potatoes. Top with butter. Bring up foil sides. Double fold top and ends to form one large foil packet, leaving room for heat circulation inside. Grill 15-18 minutes in covered grill. With hands protected by hot pads, carefully slash open foil to serve.
