Sreedhari Desai was born and raised in India. She has a bachelor's degree in engineering, a master's degree in finance, and is currently working toward a doctoral degree in management. She has studied fine arts at Westminster College, but says that her most valuable art lessons came during her travels through Europe in 2002 and 2008, when she was exposed to the work of Dutch, Italian, French, and Spanish masters. She maintains studios in Noida, India, and Salt Lake City, Utah.
