Growing up in the west, the artist credits early women mentors who gave her the tools to follow the creative spirit and path of intellectual adventure. As with many women in the profession, the path to fulfilling artistic dreams has not been without delays and detours. Even in the fallow years, she sought to live a creative life, cultivated seeing the world as an artist, and solving problems as an artist would.
