Candidate survey
What is your top priority for the United States?
Response:
To start playing offense in restoring our Constitution in the tradition of the founding fathers. What else could be more important. Do we want Congress to pass more laws, take away more freedom, spend more money on unconstitutional programs? It's time to restore our Constitution.
Describe your solution to the U.S. illegal immigration problem. What specifically should be done about the over 10-million illegal immigrants who are now in the United States? Do you favor or oppose some kind of pathway to legal status for the current illegal immigrants?
Response:
First we need to seal our boarders immediately. This can be done as the Minuit men showed us how. We could use our national guard while the fence is built. The term is illegal aliens, not illegal immigrants, to immigrate you have to do so legally following the rules of immigration. Next we require all illegal aliens to register with ICE with in a 3 month time period. If they register they will then have one year to get things in order and return to their home country. After returning home they can get in line and apply to come back as a legal immigrant. Those who do not register with in the 3 month time will automatically be deported when caught committing a crime, and they will have no chance to come back again.
The same type of rules would apply to employers. They will also have one year to E-Verify all employees. They will have one year to replace any illegal workers, and after that they will receive the $10,000.00 fine per employee.
We don't need new laws we just need to follow the ones we have. Because the Federal Government has chose not to follow the laws we now have a new problem. The identity theft of children is inexcusable. The cost is destroying their future. To turn a blind eye is inexcusable. Illegal aliens are also being hurt, we are told they will do a job we won't do for less money. I thought we did away with slavery already in this country. If you come to America, then you come legally as an American and you have every right to succeed or fail as any other American, but you are not here to work for less doing work that "we" will not do.
Do you support the Affordable Care Act (health care reform)? If not, how would you fix America's health care crisis?
Response:
Get government out of the Health care business. Health insurance cost are high because of government regulation. Let the free market system compete and fight to lower cost to build a better mouse trap for less money. We also need to do away with the Health care plan for Congress and the Senate. Let them buy insurance the same way you and I have too. Then you would see rates come down. I know of a Christan health care co-op plan that offers health insurance for half the cost of most insurance companies. They can do it because they are not regulated by Government.
If the supply of medical care is controlled by the federal government, then officers of that government will determine which demand is satisfied. the result will be the rationing of services, higher costs, poorer results and the power of life and death transferred form caring physicians to unaccountable political overseers.
Hospitals, doctors, and other health care providers should be accountable to patients, not to politicians, insurance bureaucrats, or HMO Administrators.
What can be done to improve the U.S. economy? How will you help?
Response:
I have run my own Construction Company 25 years in the Black. Never once going into negative debt through all the ups and downs of the economy. That alone qualifies me more than ninety nine percent of Congress. They can't even balance their own Check books. We need to stop spending. It's not rocket science. Money has natural laws, when we follow those laws correctly we prosper. We need to cut all unconstitutional programs. We could cut back on them each 10% a year for the next 10 years or 20% for the next 5 years.
We also need to protect American jobs form Slave labor countries. We need to practice fare trade and not so called free trade.
Article 1 section 8 gives congress the duty to regulate commerce, and provides that duties, imposts and excises are legitimate revenue-raising measures on which the United States may properly rely. I support a tariff based revenue system, as did the Founding Fathers, which was the policy of these United States during most of the nation's history. In no event will the U.S. tariff on any foreign import be less than the difference between the foreign item's cost of production and the cost of production of a similar item produced in these United States.
Tariffs are not only a constitutional source of revenue, but, wisely administered, are an aid to preservation of the national economy.Since the adoption of the 1934 Trade Agreements Act, the United States government has engaged in a free trade policy which has destroyed or endangered important segments of our domestic agriculture an industry, undercut the wages of our working men and women, and totally destroyed or shipped abroad the jobs of hundreds of thousands of workers.
When you study economics one of the first things you learn is that money and wealth don't vanish into thin are they move locations. The wealth of our Country is being moved to foreign global companies and governments by our politicians who take campaign contributions in return.
Utah is famous for its beautiful landscapes. What will you do to protect and promote these areas?
Response:
We need to give back the Federal owned land to the States and let them control them in the best interest.
What are your views on federal funding for embryonic and adult stem cell research?
Response:
Government should not be using tax payer money. They have no rule in this at all.
Are you willing to work with members of other political parties to accomplish changes in Washington?
Response:
We have had enough change, I am willing to work with any party who wants to restore what made us the greatest country in the world. We have the greatest Constitution in the world lets just follow it.
What are your views on nuclear testing?
Response:
As far as energy is concerned the United States needs a sufficient supply of energy for national security and for the growth of our citizens. I would call for a free market solution to achieve energy Independence for the United States. The Department of Energy needs to be abolished and the federal government should not interfere with the development of potential energy sources, including natural gas, hydroelectric power, solar energy, wind generators, and nuclear energy.
When you are forming an opinion on an issue, who do/will you ask for advice and information?
Response:
Scott Bradley, Ron Paul, Miken Bales,Chuck Baldwin,The Works of Cleon Skousen, and our Founding Fathers.
What is the one personal trait/characteristic that you want voters to know about you, and why is that important in this race?
Response:
Integrity. I'm not looking for a career, I have one. I am just willing to serve my Country for 2 years to help make it a better place for mine and your children. I will not compromise principle for political gain.
