Obituary: Wanda Johnson Francom

      1913 ~ 2004
      Wanda Mary Johnson Francom, age 90, former Payson resident, passed away Thursday, March 4, 2004 at McKay Dee Hospital in Ogden.
      She was born March 24, 1913 in Palmyra, Utah, a daughter of William C. and Amelia Dagmar Andersen Johnson. She married John Marlyn Francom, July 22, 1931 in the Manti LDS Temple. He preceded her in death September 9, 1994.
      She was a nurse for 30 years at Payson Hospital. She always felt like she should be the caregiver and she gave that care with an open heart and she was one of the best in her nursing field. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many capacities. She and her husband were active in temple work.
      Survivors include: two sons and a daughter, Sterling Johnson (Colleen) Francom, American Fork; William Ray (Sherry) Francom, Ogden; Sonja (Lawrence) Nelson, Fruit Hts.; 13 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; four sisters, Myrle Lizak, Ruth Milner, both Spanish Fork; Roween Hawkins, Benjamin; and Vivian Carleson, Salt Lake City. She was preceded in death by a brother and six sisters.
      Funeral services will be Monday, March 8, 2004, 11:00 a.m., at the Walker Mortuary, 587 South 100 West, Payson, where friends may call one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Payson City Cemetery.
