A. Roger Merrill was sustained as president of the Sunday School on April 3, 2004. Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Ariel Cardon and Edith Horsley Merrill, he grew up in Carmel, Calif.; served as an Area Authority Seventy, stake president and counselor, member of Melchizedek Priesthood General Committee, high councilor, bishop and branch president; senior consultant for a leadership training company and partner in own consulting firm; received bachelor’s degree from BYU; wife, Rebecca Rippy Merrill; parents of seven children.

Daniel K. Judd

Daniel K. Judd was sustained as first counselor in the Sunday School presidency on April 3, 2004. Born in Kanab, Utah, to LeRoy P. and Phyllis Farnsworth Judd; served as stake president, bishop, ward mission leader and Young Men president; chairman of the Department of Ancient Scripture at BYU; received B.S. degree in zoology from Southern Utah University, M.S. degree in family science and Ph.D. in counseling psychology from BYU; wife, Kaye Seegmiller Judd; parents of four children.

William D. Oswald

William D. Oswald was sustained as second counselor in the Sunday School presidency on April 3, 2004. Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, to William McKinley and Belle Davenport MacVichie Oswald; previously served as first counselor in the Sunday School general presidency and on the Sunday School general board, was president of the Russia Vladivostok Mission, regional representative, bishop and branch president; attorney; received bachelor’s degree in history and juris doctorate from University of Utah; wife, Mavis Morris Oswald; parents of six children.
