President Ezra Taft Benson once said that the world would shape human behavior but Christ can change human behavior.
      One of the most effective ways to change it is through the gospel of Jesus Christ that is taught in missionary work.
      "While we have our free agency, missionary work, in its various forms, is not an optional program. We talk about the blessings of missionary work, but in reality we should do missionary work because it's our duty. The scriptures and every prophet since Joseph Smith have reminded us it's our duty to go unto all nations and to warn our neighbors."
      The Lord has promised that service to him through missionary work brings great joy. Quoting President Wilford Woodruff, missionary work "is our calling. It is our duty. It is our business."
      Missionaries reap many types of blessings from missionary service. "Some are immediate; others come only with time."
