Revelations from the Lord are marvelous and should be studied with an appreciation for the truths that they contain.

"We can not be save in ignorance, but the Lord can only reveal light and truth to us as we are prepared to receive it." Consequently, members "must do everything we can to increase our spiritual knowledge and understanding by studying the scriptures."
