Quorums of the Seventy
Young men and young women growing up in these troubled times need to maintain a celestial connection in their teenage years and realize their futures are truly connected to their past.
"If we want to live a celestial life in the hereafter, we had better live a celestial life here on Earth."
Young people must recognize that the foundation for future success both temporally and spiritually is being built while in the teenage years.
"Therefore, if you want to get an 'A' in the classroom, continual daily dedication is the answer. If you want to get an 'A' in your celestial goals, the same daily technique needs to be applied."
A teen's greatest challenge is successfully connecting celestial goals with everyday life when each day is full of worldly things and bombardment from temptations.
"One of the great purposes of the gospel of Jesus Christ is to teach us of our eternal potentials. The purpose of the church organization of Jesus Christ is to help us reach that potential."
