In the final event of the regular season, the Cougars of BYU split their meet on Senior Night against conference rival Utah. The women (11-0, 8-0) wrapped up a perfect season and clinched the Mountain West Conference regular season title with a 218-82 victory, while the men (2-5, 0-5) fell to the Utes 162-138 in their closest meet of the year.

The Lady Utes finished 7-6 overall and 4-4 in the MWC while the men closed the season at 3-5 overall and 1-4 in conference. The win in Provo ended a five-year losing streak to the Cougars and was the first time in 12 years the Utes won at BYU.

Individually for the Utes, Garret Peterson set two new personal bests with first place finishes in the 100 breaststroke (57.48) and the 200 breaststroke (2:05.47). Peterson was also a part of the 200-medley relay team that finished with a time of 1:36.15. Luke Donohue, Eric Murray and Major Robinson were also on that team.

Robinson, a sophomore, placed first in the 100 and 200 backstroke events with times of 51.57 and 1:53.97, respectively. Rick Mason won the 500 and 1,000 freestyle events, Karson Applin won the 100 fly, and Bjorn Gunnarsson, Jordan Spoerri and Applin finished 1-3 to sweep the Cougars in the 50 free.
