RSL U-17s advance to final

Real Salt Lake's U-17 team advance to the championship of the SUM U-17 Cup in Houston by edging Houston 5-4 in penalty kicks after a 1-1 tie.

RSL, the 2008 champion, will face D.C. United, the 2007 and 2009 champion, in Thursday morning's championship game.

The 16-team tournament is comprised of U-17 youth teams from all 16 MLS clubs. The winner advances to the Clubes de Mundial U-18 tournament in Madrid next spring.
