Aggies give back

Most college students can't wait for this week to be over at Utah State -- it's finals week.
But while finals and getting home to mom and dad are high on the minds of many Aggie athletes, so was giving back to the community.
Athletes like James Brindley, Robert Turbin, Matt Formisano and Brady Jardine agreed to meet with 16 kids from the Cache Valley community for a program the school calls Shop with a Jock.
Athletes from each of Utah State's 16 varsity sports -- 34 student-athletes total -- went shopping with the kids and helped them pick out items they might not find under the Christmas Tree otherwise.
"It was a lot of fun. It was great to see the kids' excitement and to spend time with them," Turbin said. "They're hard-core Aggie fans so it was fun to talk Aggie sports with them. It was great to see them smile and know that they had fun, and I know all the student-athletes had a blast."
Each child received a $100 gift certificate at ShopKo.
The shopping was followed by an autograph and photo session with the athletes.
