With the school's best-ever regular season in the books, BYU is now getting ready for an area of competition that has historically been far more challenging: the postseason. Here's a quick statistical rundown of how the Cougars sit heading into the MWC and NCAA tournaments:

BYU has won the MWC regular-season title five times ('01, '03, '07, '08, '09) but 2001 was the only time the Cougars have been able to win the conference tournament.
NCAA Tournament History:
BYU has a record of 11-27 in 24 tournament appearances since 1950. The Cougars made it to the Elite Eight in 1981, but have not been able to get out of the first round in seven tries since 1992.
