Kona Schwenke signs with Notre Dame

As reported last week, BYU coach Bronco Mendenhall rescinded a scholarship offer for Kahuku High defensive lineman Kona Schwenke, who took a recruiting trip to Notre Dame last weekend. Today, Schwenke ended up signing with the Fighting Irish.
We'll find out more about the situation this afternoon, when Mendenhall answers questions from the media about the 2010 recruiting class.
