Chris is the Executive Vice President and Publisher of the Deseret News. Previously, he was the General Manager of DeseretNews.com. His prior experience includes leadership of Heritage Makers, a privately held seller of on-demand web-to-print products, where he served as Chairman and CEO. He has also held key leadership roles in several new media businesses, including Ancestry.com and MyFamily.com, a first-of-its-kind social network for families. He began his career with Monitor Group, a global innovation and strategy firm. Chris holds a BA from Brigham Young University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
