Trevor Phibbs is a reporter who joined the Deseret News in 2008. He currently is the Weber State beat writer and also covers high school athletics and the Utah Blaze. Phibbs was raised in Sandy, Utah where he graduated from Alta High in 2008 and is a current senior at the University of Utah. He has an inordinate love and potential allergic addiction (not really, but really) for pasta and Red Bull. In his spare time, he loves to listen to music of all genres, watch movies, trying to play golf and collecting hats.
