Jacob got his start in the media industry during high school where operated TV cameras for KULC 9, KUED 7, ESPN and KSL 5 in Salt lake City. After graduating Los Angeles City College magna cum laude, he graduated from Brigham Young University with honors and started reporting for the Deseret News.
