The idea that diet foods can be delicious is somewhat unconventional.
So, when Shauna Evans set out to share her secrets for scrumptious slimming, she coined a word to describe it — “Skinny-licious."
The warm, whimsical colors and design elements, mixed with the author’s own photography, artfully show that a dieter can have it all with more than 100 recipes for healthy, fat-healthy, fat-fighting sandwiches, salads, soups and even desserts that appear both palette-pleasing and easy to prepare. These are mostly "one-dish meals" that are low-carb and nutrient-dense.
Evans is Utah-born and raised, a mother of five, and she met her husband, Joe, at Brigham Young University.
In the book's first 11 pages, she shares a heartfelt explanation, tips and advice and tells how with the recipes and outlined diet plan she had weight-loss success.
