LOGAN — Utah State announced Tuesday that junior college cornerback Tyler Floyd has signed a National Letter of Intent.
Floyd, a 5-foot-9, 185-pound cornerback from Orlando, Fla., has two years of eligibility left. He plans to play this fall with the Aggies. He will join 10 other cornerbacks on USU's roster.
Floyd led Fullerton College with four blocked kicks and nine pass breakups. During the 2013 season, Floyd helped Fullerton to a 12-1 record and an appearance in the California Community College Athletic Association state title.
At Bishop Moore High School in Orlando, Floyd also played running back and returned kicks to go along with his defensive back duties.
