On the map: Student wins state geography bee, advances to nationals

LEHI — Students from across Utah put their knowledge to the test in the state-level competition of the National Geographic Bee on Friday at Thanksgiving Point.

Gauri Garg, of Bear River Charter School, won and will represent the state in the national competition May 19-21 in Washington, D.C., with a $50,000 college scholarship at stake.
