College doesn’t start in the class, but with financial aid letters, according to NPR. Looking at financial aid for college raises questions for families about how they’re going to pay and whether they can afford the college their student wants to attend, NPR reported. And those letters aren’t exactly easy to read.
“Some are filled with acronyms and abbreviations, others lump scholarships and loans together,” NPR reported. “And because they're often very different, they're also difficult to compare.”
