Every fan has dealt with their fair share of disappointment from their team's front office moves.
However, for one young Carolina Panthers fan, cutting long-time wide receiver Steve Smith last week crossed the line.
"Gavin gets emotional about Steve Smith" was posted on March 12 after it was announced Smith was being released and has already garnered more than 100,000 views.
When Gavin, the heart-broken youngster, is asked by his father who he will root for now that Smith was no longer a Panther, the disappointed fan made it clear it no longer Carolina.
"I hate the Panthers!" Gavin says behind his tears. "I don't even want a favorite team."
Smith, a former Ute, caught 836 passes for 12,197 yards in 13 seasons for Carolina. He also scored 67 touchdowns for the Panthers.
He was officially released Thursday to save cap space and signed a three-year deal with the Baltimore Ravens on Friday.
Gavin's new opinion on the Panthers actually isn't too far off Smith's, who told WFNZ in Charlotte last week to "put your goggles on because there is going to be blood and guts everywhere” the next time he plays against the Panthers.
No word if Gavin has become a Ravens fan, or has jumped on the Cam Newton bandwagon alongside his sister.
