The first prep basketball state tournament of the year gets underway this week with the 1A girls tourney, and all eyes will be on undefeated Panguitch. The Bobcats enter the state tournament with a 21-0 record, and are coming off a narrow 39-37 win over Piute in the Region 20 tournament championship game last week.

Two-time state champion St. Joseph heads into the tournament as a dark horse title contender, while you can bet nobody will overlook Piute, Rich or Wayne.

Here’s a team-by-team look at what to expect from all 21 of these teams.
