As I have followed with interest the severe winter challenges in the South, it has made me wonder and rethink about the real possibility of such a challenge in our own state.
We have been warned repeatedly by our civic leaders and others that we should prepare for a major earthquake in our state. We have been advised to have 72-hour emergency kits, food storage, water and medical supplies.
A lot of “woulda, shoulda, coulda” has been going in this latest crisis. But how will we react if it happens here? Who gets the blame if we ignore all the warnings? Will it be the governor? The mayor?
Hmmm, I wonder.
