SALT LAKE CITY — Kids involved with the Make-A-Wish Foundation in Utah explored the wild blue yonder in International Jet Aviation’s brightly painted “Dream Chaser” Lear jet.
The children took off from TAC Air Thursday morning. Kids also had the opportunity to meet the pilots, sit in the cockpit, tour the hangar and sign their names on the rainbow-colored aircraft after their flights.
As a way to give back to the community, International Jet Aviation is donating the use of the jet to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Utah was chosen as one of five chapters to participate in the experience.
The rainbow Lear jet will remain brightly colored during its weeklong tour before being repainted and used again for commercial purposes.
