While the Detroit Lions have hired a new coach, the defensive scheme is expected to stay the same, which is good news for former BYU defensive lineman Ziggy Ansah.

The Senior Bowl takes place this weekend in Mobile, Ala. There are two Cougars who will play in the game — linebacker Kyle Van Noy and wide receiver Cody Hoffman. The Philadelphia Eagles, who are looking for an outside linebacker, could have their eye on Van Noy, according to Philly.com.

One NCAA basketball tournament projection has BYU playing in the First Four in Dayton against Arkansas.

Meanwhile, of the 51 projected brackets at , 13 of the 39 include the Cougars in the field of 68.
