BYU Museum of Art announced extended hours for its exhibition “Sacred Gifts: The Religious Art of Carl Bloch, Heinrich Hofmann and Frans Schwartz.”
The museum is extending evening hours on Mondays and Saturdays and will now be open 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
According to a news release, more than 100,000 tickets have already been distributed to patrons since the exhibit’s Nov. 15 opening, with particularly high demand for evening and weekend tickets.
In addition to extended hours, the museum now offers a free download of its exhibition app. The interactive audiovisual app, specifically designed for “Sacred Gifts,” is available through the iTunes store for download on personal devices. Headphones are required for using the app while in the exhibit. The museum has a limited supply of headphones and iPads available for rental at the cost of $1 for headphones and $3 for iPads.
The exhibit will be on display through May. Tickets are free and required for admittance. Reservations can be made by visiting sacredgifts.byu.edu.
