Alcohol/drugs: The main character's father cannot control his drinking. Short scenes in a hotel bar. Other characters are seen drinking. One character quickly puts out a cigarette so he won't be seen smoking.

Images: The main character's mother attempts suicide in a nearby creek. Her father falls from a stage injuring himself, and later he is seen dead in bed after coughing up a large amount of blood.

Language: Infrequent use of minor swear words.
