I want clean air too, and who wouldn't? But I'm tired of everyone — from local news anchors who have short memories to federal bureaucrats who've only flown over on their way to Disneyland, to tree huggers who moved in last summer because they loved the mountains they now can't see — complaining about pollution and the inversion and about the air being the worst in America.
It probably is, but we live at the bottom of a giant bathtub, people, and those mountains are the entire problem — unless you count the people, of course. It's ridiculous to expect the same air quality in Salt Lake City as Lincoln, Neb., or Washington, D.C. Quit complaining.
