LAS VEGAS — Vincy Stringham of St. George said that while she didn’t win the $1 million 46th Pillsbury Bake-Off Contest prize, she “had a million-dollar experience.”

Stringham and three other members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Kalani Allred, of Loomis, Calif.; Melissa Stadler, of Mesa, Ariz.; and Juliann Pelton, of Katy, Texas, were among the 100 finalists during the Nov. 10-12 contest in Las Vegas. Allred, Stadler and Pelton were in the Amazing Doable Dinners category, and Stringham was competing in the Quick Rise and Shine Breakfasts group.

The grand prize winner was Glori Spriggs’ Loaded Potato Pinwheels.

The 2014 Bake-Off contest launches in January. See bakeoff.com for information.
