AMERICAN FORK — The city will hold informational meetings to explain the process used to identify roads proposed for repair and to explain how a bond would work if voters approve the measure.
The meetings are Tuesday, Oct. 15, at Shelley Elementary, 602 N. 200 West; Wednesday, Oct. 16, at Legacy Elementary, 28 E. 1340 North; Thursday, Oct. 24, at Greenwood Elementary, 50 E. 200 South; and Tuesday, Oct. 29, Barratt Elementary, 168 N. 900 East. All of the meetings are scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.
In August, the American Fork City Council approved putting a $20 million general obligation bond on the Nov. 5 ballot. If the bond is approved by voters, it would pay for road reconstruction and infrastructure improvements.
