How BYU, Utah and USU's opponents fared in week 5: Wyoming, Wisconsin fall; Oregon State, Arizona State surging

Week five was very successful for local teams, save Weber State.

Both the Utah State Aggies and the BYU Cougars came away victorious. Meanwhile, the Utes are in the midst of preparation for their second Pac-12 game of the 2013 season.

For many of Utah's opponents, this week was equally as successful. Many teams came away with blowout wins. By the same token, because conference season has largely begun, many of Utah and USU's opponents were on the receiving end of those blowouts.

That said, the early conference season has had its number of nail-biters and shocking upsets, particularly in the Mountain West.
