SALT LAKE CITY — Utah State volleyball's junior duo of Rachel Orr and Ashlan Rogers-Court were named to the Utah Classic All-Tournament Team, announced Saturday night following the final match of the weekend.

The Aggie duo were joined on the team by Fairfield's Rachel Romansky; Courtney Kintzel and Kinsey Caldwell of Northern Iowa; and Utah's Erin Redd-Brandon, Lea Adolph, Shelby Dalton and Morgan Odale, who was named the MVP.

USU went 2-1, beating Northern Iowa and Fairfield on Saturday after falling to Utah in five sets Friday. Utah won the Classic with a 3-0 mark, while Northern Iowa ended 1-2 and Fairfield was 0-3.

Orr, a junior outside hitter from Thatcher, Ariz., posted a .206 attack percentage (46-19-131) in the three matches, highlighted by a .311 attack percentage (19-5-45). She logged a match-high 19 kills to go with 14 digs for her third-consecutive double-double in the five-set win over Fairfield on Saturday evening. She averaged 3.3 kills and 3.1 digs per set in the Aggies' three matches. Orr posted 15 kills and 16 digs Friday against Utah, while logging 12 kills and 14 digs in the four-set win over UNI on Saturday morning.

Rogers-Court, a junior libero from Highland, Utah, averaged over 21 digs per match for the weekend, finishing with 64 total for a 4.6 digs per set average. She logged 23 in the Northern Iowa match after notching 22 against Utah. Rogers-Court wrapped up play with 19 in the win over Fairfield. She also served up five aces for the weekend, with two each against Utah and UNI, and one in the Fairfield match.

This is Orr's second all-tournament team honor, as she was tabbed to the San Diego State Aztec Challenge All-Tournament Team last season. It is also Rogers-Court's second all-tournament team accolade, being named to last year's Utah State Invitational All-Tournament Team.

Following this weekend's action, the Aggies play at the University of Portland Nike Invitational on Sept. 6-7, before playing at in-state foe Weber State on Sept. 10. USU then plays at the Duke University Tournament on Sept. 13-14.

The Aggies officially kick off their home schedule by hosting Boise State on Sept. 18 at 7 p.m. in USU's MW debut.
