The 2012-2013 high school sports season officially came to a close last Friday when the UHSAA handed out its last of 86 state championship trophies.

The first trophy was awarded in late September to Rowland Hall's girls tennis team for winning the 2A state title, and the last was presented to Salem Hill's baseball team on Friday as it captured the 4A state championship.

All told, there were 86 state champions crowned in sports that factor into the Deseret News All-Sports Award — which will be published in this Tuesday's Deseret News.

Here's a recap of all 86 champions in chronological order beginning on Sept. 29 with Rowland Hall's 2A girls tennis title.
