SALT LAKE CITY — Kenneth Petersen has joined the board of directors of the Intermountain Farmers Association.
Peterson, a farmer and rancher from Cokeville, Wyo., for the last 20 years, was elected to the board during IFA's recent annual meeting in Salt Lake City. Peterson will be the new board member representing IFA's District 2, consisting of the northern Wasatch Front; Tooele, Summit, and Wasatch counties; as well as Idaho and Wyoming.
Petersen grew up in Cokeville, where he attended elementary and graduated from Cokeville High School in 1985. He attended BYU and graduated with a bachelor's degree in animal science and agri-business. He then returned to Cokeville with his wife, Andra, where they worked on the family ranch.
IFA provides professional products and services to the agricultural community. IFA operates four feed mills and four agronomy centers in Utah, and 24 IFA Country Store locations in five states in the Intermountain West.
