Utah State women's tennis travels to Ruston, La., to compete in a pair of Western Athletic Conference matches this weekend. The Aggies will compete against Louisiana Tech on Friday, Mar. 29 at 8:30 a.m. and UTSA on Saturday Mar. 30 at 1 p.m. USU is currently 0-1 in WAC play and 4-6 overall.
Leading the Aggies will be sophomore McKenzie Davis and senior Jaci West. Davis is currently 7-2 at the No. 1 singles position and West is 6-4 at the No. 2 position after being the only two to win their matches against UT Arlington last week. West and Davis are sitting at 4-2 in the first doubles position. Other athletes to watch for the Aggies include sophomore Hillary Hays and freshman Kallie Sperry. Hays is currently 3-6 and Sperry 3-7 overall for singles play.
After this weekend, the Aggies will return home and host San Jose State on April 5 at 12 p.m., Texas State on April 6 at 12 p.m., and Seattle University on April 7 at 9 a.m at the Sports Academy and Racquet Club.
