SALT LAKE CITY — Adobe co-founder and University of Utah alumnus John Warnock will be the keynote speaker at the U.'s Hinckley Institute of Politics 16th annual Rocco C. and Marion S. Siciliano forum.
The forum, which runs March 4-12, will closely examine “The Future of Higher Education.” The week will feature 13 events, including the keynote address by Warnock, "How Higher Ed Created High Tech,” at 12:30 p.m. March 5 in the Marriott Library Gould Auditorium.
Other notable speakers include Henry J. Eyring, pioneer of higher education reform and co-author of The Innovative University; and Jane McGonigal, an instructional game designer and New York Times best-selling author of "Reality Is Broken: Why Games Make Us Better and How They Can Change the World."
The Siciliano Forum will also feature several RadioWest shows broadcast live on KUER 90.1 FM, a KSL NewsRadio "Doug Wright Show" broadcast live on 102.7 FM/1160 AM, and a sneak preview of 10x10’s celebrated film "Girl Rising."
