PROVO — The Utah County Health Department is offering free skin cancer screening clinics.
The first clinic will be Jan. 30 from 8:15 to 11:30 a.m. in Suite 1709 of the Utah County Health and Justice Building, 151 S. University Ave., Provo.
Doctors and medical personnel will review skin conditions for individuals, looking for abnormalities that might indicate or lead to skin cancer. Referrals will be made to local dermatologists for individuals considered to be at risk. Educational materials on protection from the sun and free samples of skin products will also be distributed.

Additional free skin cancer screening clinics will be held at the same times and location on Feb. 12-13, March 19-20, April 24, May 22, June 26.
