KAYSVILLE — Children and Adults with Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (CHADD) of Utah will host its annual conference, "Organizational Skill Deficits and Interventions for Children with ADHD," on Jan. 24 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Davis High School.
The guest speaker will be David M. Groot, an assistant professor/ lecturer at the University of Utah College of Social Work. With 25 years of clinical and administrative experience, he now serves as the clinical director of Camp Takoda, a summer treatment program for children with ADHD. He has won numerous teaching awards at the U. He is working on completing his doctorate in social work.
A $5 donation is requested, with the funds helping the CHADD of Utah/Davis District Parent to Parent Scholarship Fund. Educators can earn two relicensure points for attending the conference. A certificate of attendance will be provided.
