SALT LAKE CITY — The Utah Jazz completed a comeback behind 27 points by Gordon Hawyard. Here are the highlights.

Hayward should get his hair cut more often. He has now scored in double-figures for six straight games off the bench for the Jazz.

Since Dirk Nowitski began his season on Dec. 23, 2012, the Mavericks are 1-7. Despite the loss, Nowitski scored 20 points and had five rebounds and assists.

The Jazz blocked eight shots, but few were as athletic and impressive as Hayward's transition swat of Rodrigue Beaubois.

Marvin Williams only had one basket on the night — a buzzer-beater in the closing seconds of the second half — but it certainly energized the crowd.

The Jazz offense came alive in the fourth quarter. Until then, Hayward basically kept the Jazz within striking distance with one of the best games, if not the best game of his career.
