TAYLORSVILLE — Salt Lake Community College has launched a shuttle service for travel among three of its campuses.
Called the B-Line, the intercampus shuttle connects SLCC’s South City, Meadowbrook and Taylorsville Redwood campuses. SLCC provides the free service to all students and employees. All patrons must provide SLCC identification to ride.
The shuttle leaves South City campus at the east entrance on the hour beginning at 7 a.m. on all weekdays for which SLCC is open. The shuttle route runs from the South City to the Meadowbrook TRAX station, then to the UTA bus stop on the north side of the Taylorsville Redwood campus. It runs until 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and until 2 p.m. on Fridays.
SLCC also provides a Shuttle Tracker that lets riders track the location of the shuttle in real time online. For desktop users, the link is www.slccbus.com; mobile device users can follow the link www.slccbus.com/m.
Ridership will be tracked to determine whether to expand the shuttle to the college’s other campuses.
