HERRIMAN — The Jordan Board of Education is in the process of establishing a boundary for the new middle school scheduled to open in the fall of 2013 in Herriman.
The boundary change involves South Hills, Fort Herriman, and Elk Ridge middle schools.
The Jordan School District has posted three boundary options online, along with a survey to provide feedback about the options, at www.middleschoolboundary.com.
District staff also will hold two open houses at Herriman High School, 11917 S. 6000 West, on Nov. 13 and Nov. 15, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in the media center. At the open houses, people will have the opportunity to discuss the boundary options.
Following the open houses and a period of public feedback through the online survey, board members plan to review a report of feedback received and finalize boundaries as early as December.
