SPANISH FORK — The city is making changes in its business license program.
There will be a uniform license fee for all businesses in the city. Most businesses will see their annual fee change as all businesses will be required to pay a $40 fee each year. The amount will be reflected in a renewal letter that will be sent the last week in November.
Also, the city has contracted with CitizenServe to provide many license services online. It is anticipated that this service will be available the first week in December. A specific date will be included in license renewal letters and with November’s newsletter.
Renewals are due Jan. 1 and become delinquent after Jan. 15. The city encourages all business owners to complete the renewal process before the Christmas holiday so the city can provide a 2013 license by the first of the new year.
