SANDY — The Sandy City Police Department held a press conference informing the public of October being National Domestic Violence Awareness Month in Sandy Tuesday. Balloons representing adult victims of physical domestic violence were released and 610 pinwheels were placed in the ground to represent the children who have witnessed domestic violence.
