Featuring 214 artists from more than 28 states showcasing their work in 12 categories, the Part City Kimball Arts Festival, one of the oldest and largest arts festivals in the West, will be held Aug. 3-5 on Park City's historic Main Street.
Hoping to provide something for everyone, the festival is free to Summit County residents and children under 5, $10 for weekend passes for non-residents and $5 for children and students ages 6-18.
Ceramics, drawing, fiber, glass, jewelry, metalwork, mixed media, painting, photography, printmaking sculpture and wood showcases will all be on display.
In addition, the festival features last year's 2011 Best of Show returning artists, tie dye, ceramics demonstrations, a scavenger hunt, face painting, booths, a student art show, music, food venues and more.
Citywide recreation and entertainment options and restaurants participating in Taste of Art are also available around town.
Tickets to the festival go toward supporting the Kimball Art Center's free, year-round education, exhibitions and events.
