DALLAS — LeBron James one night, Dirk Nowitzki the next.

The Utah Jazz went from one superstar to another, and the result hasn't been pretty so far.

A night after stunning the Miami Heat in Utah, the Jazz find themselves down 43-36 at the half against the Dallas Mavericks at American Airlines Center.

Nowitzki leads the Mavs, losers of four straight, with 20 points on 8-of-14 shooting.

Paul Millsap is the Jazz's leading scorer with 10 points, but Utah shot just 39 percent in a rough first half. The Jazz followed a low-scoring 20-point first quarter with only 16 points in the second quarter.

This is the first of a five-game road trip for the Jazz, who play at Cleveland, Charlotte, Philadelphia and Chicago over the next week.
